Press Release Summary: Six acts to battle it out at London\'s Comedy store
Press Release Body: The search to find the nation's funniest student comes to an end on Monday 10 March when six acts battle it out in the Funniest Student 2008 final, organised by Magners Paramount Comedy On Tap and Off The Kerb Productions.
The acts on the night will be Ian Llewellyn Rowe from Brunel University, Dave Howarth from Leeds University, Paul Longley and Ric Whatron, both from Southampton Solent, Micky Anderson from Edinburgh University and a double act featuring Sam Pacelli and Tom Houghton from the University of Kent.
Last year's winner Hannah George from Southampton Solent University walked away with money can't buy prizes including guaranteed gigs courtesy from Alan Carr and Michael McIntyre's management Off The Kerb Productions and the opportunity to develop an idea with Paramount Comedy.
The whole experience bowled Hannah over so much that she's now planning to become a regular on the comedy circuit: "I intend whole-heartedly to remain doing things with comedy throughout my life really. I'll dedicate my life to comedy - there you go, you heard it here first!"

Hosted by Patrick Monahan, resident warm up for BBC1's Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and featuring a set with our special guest, if.comedy award winner Brendon Burns, the show promises to be a great night out.
